クックパッドから note にレシピを移動し、内容を大幅更新しました
I wrote the Japanese and English recipes for “●Bake in rice cooker☆Super easy pumpkin cake●”.
I have moved my recipes from Cookpad to Note and have updated the content significantly.

いくつもあって迷う、英語の「皮」の表現
日本語で「皮」と言えばどんなものにも比較的当てはまりますが、英語だと表現が複数ありとても面白い。
- skin
- peel
- rind
- zest
- pith
などなど…。
種類や状態によって様々です。
かぼちゃの場合は「rind」が近いかなと思ったのでそちらを使用しています。
完璧な英文にはなっていないと思うので、もし間違いなどがあれば教えていただけると幸いです。
There are a number of expressions for “kawa” in English, and it is difficult to know which one to use.
In Japanese, the word “皮” is relatively applicable to any object, but in English, there are multiple expressions, which is very interesting.
- skin
- peel
- rind
- zest
- pith
And so on…
It varies depending on the type and condition.
In the case of pumpkins, I thought “rind” would be close, so I used that one.
I don’t think this is a perfect English sentence, so if there are any mistakes, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
